EligibilityOf Studies For B.Ed

Admission:
A candidate having passed Bachelor degree in second division from a recognized University will be eligible for admission to B.Ed. Programme.
The admission will be on merit basis determined on the basis of academic achievement test and interview.
The Admission Committee will determine the merit recommend candidates for admission.

Session:
            The B.Ed. programme is a one programme (annual basis). Examinations are held by the University at the end of the academic session.

Parts of Examinations

Part I Theory
Part II Practical Skill in Teaching

It will comprise the following
Two criticism lesson , one each in elective subject taken by the student.
Teaching practice for six weeks comprising at least 60 lessons of elective subject under the supervision of the Faculty.
Examination of practical skill in Teaching in two lessons in the two elective subjects given in the presence of Board of Examiners.
Pass marks in theory papers will be 33% and for practical skill in Teaching will be 40 % .
